Marion VA Medical Center, Mental Health Addition

EBA was engaged by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to provide A/E design services for a new two-story Outpatient Mental Health Facility at the Marion VA Medical Center (VAMC) located in Marion, IL.  The design objective was to consolidate onsite and offsite outpatient mental health programs in a new 28,000 SF facility.  One stated goal was to create a visible presence on the Medical Center Campus which makes a statement regarding the importance of Veterans’ Mental Health while meeting the needs of the patients and staff it supports.  The EBA team provided a complete A/E design services package including: surveying, planning, programming, cost estimating, schematics, design development, construction documents and construction administration.
